I will talk about stuff that happens to me. And comment on things that I like and don't like. Fuck stuff you like.

The Hollywood Roller Coaster

Today I found out that my production company can't afford to keep me on this month. They haven't been paid yet for one of their two shows, and the show I work on doesn't generate enough revenue to pay for production costs and three employees.

SO I have to wait and find out if they need me in January. The upside is that while they've laid off a total of 5 people in the past two weeks, the owner and the director of the show both told me that I was the first being re-hired. I should know something the last week of December.

HOPEFULLY, I'll make a little extra scratch on a game show. I tried out for a show a couple days before I started work. Today -the same day I got laid off- I got a call to be on the show on Monday the 4th. I'll be in the mob, not the "one", but I can still win money.

Obviously, I'll have a report one way or the other on Monday. I also promise a funny, or at least an attempted funny post soon.

Oh Snap! It's one of my dreams to be on a Game Show! I am sorry to hear about your job troubles, but am sure that you will have something come up soon enough.

It's not all that hard to get on them if you're in LA. You just have to be more interesting than aspiring, out-of-work actors...which is what fills the line at gameshow tryouts.

And if you haven't spoken to a bunch of aspiring actors before, I can virtually guarantee you're more interesting than they are.
